Flying some intercept training out of Loring with Allen's FS9 F94B, there's a few gauge's missing and ive lost the lights, converting texture's to DDS is a good move, Its a bit sluggish, could be an FS9 air file in FSX or in the real world, the added weight of guns and radar did slow it down abit compare'd to a T33. Still fun to fly and there's a few more repaints by Mick in the library,

Dont get to close to the B36's, you'll get knock'd out the sky

The JF may have a better visual model, but I know the fde engineer and I guarantee it'll be just as good if not better than the one we made for Iris.. You might want to wait, or get both..

Thought I'd try something new. It's been kind of cold around here lately.

I did so many versions of that I had to check to see if it was one of mine....

Indeed it is one of your repaints Jafo and my personal favourite. You did a lovely job of the bare metal look.

If I can get my head around the 480 meg psd file again after all these years I should have another look at 'em...maybe do some more...

This one had some 'metal'...on the WW logo...

Since I did these I went back to PSP...and needless to say I'll have to seriously reduce layers in the PSD to get into PSP instead. PSP6 goes belly-up not much over 100 meg.

    Aleutian Blues

Can't keep out of the Aleutians some months. This rugged remote artic island chain on the fringe basically stretching from Russia tp Alaska are also very scenic. With real time weather you get to see flying anything there was a serious challenge. Low cloud, rain, snow, snow showers, high winds. Anyway couple of shots from an abandoned flight. It was minimums of about 800ft, heavy snow and winds gusting to 60 knots on the ground and over 100 knots at altitude. Thought about it, nope, back to parking and shutdown. Taxying on slippery runways in these winds with only differential power and brakes well was uplifting.

Then I had a better idea something more modern with deicing kit.

    More

Sometimes we forget how good the scenery can be - Run from Port Heiden to Cold Bay in the Milviz Beaver.

Then Milviz had a surprise for me - complete engine failure due loss of oil pressure. Still waiting for someone to come and get me.

Good shot, no "RoyalFrenchNavy" but "RoyaleFrenchNavy", France is not a kingdom, no king nor queen ! " la Royale" is the nick name for "Marine Nationale" the French Navy. Maybe because headquarters of the French Navy were "Rue Royale" (Royale street) in Paris!

My bad. I was trying to identify the developer site as I couldn't remember how to spell the personal name of the guy who made the model and still managed to mis spell the site name. Sorry.
