There is a separate forum for P3D screenshots, no?

Thank you for the tip about this wonderful aircraft, Bjoern! I used to see one of these fly over my house from time to time, some years ago.

Yeah, he has put out quite a few stellar productions! I found his website last night and downloaded/installed a few more.

His P-149D might be down you alley, but it sadly isn't FSX native (yet).
An FSX native version of the P-149 would be wonderful!
Here are some FSX screenshots taken around Sywell of the JF Chipmunk.

You have right but as You see here is more users of P3D than FSX now I suppose. Many addons works for FSX and P3D and some of topics are unnecessarily mirrored. Here is reason why many of us are accustomed to use "old" FSX Forum and on P3D corner is a little "quiet" (technically P3D leaves behind the FSX).
I think the better option is do not devide this two very similar sims for two differents corners but merge this corners to the one for FSX/P3D users - only sticky: technical, tips and trick could be divided for dedicated topics for P3D or FSX users on the top of this corner - it will be better according my opinion. Mods/Admins of SOH please think about this.

No need to do anything really. Post P3D screenshots in the P3D forum and FSX screenshots in the FSX forum. What could be more simple

That would still be unnecessary and no more relevant than an FS9-FSX 'area' IMO

While it might be hard to distinguish a screenshot between FSX and P3Dv2/v3, P3Dv4 is a totally different animal, even when it concerns screenies. (maybe not so much regarding aircraft models but more like groundtextures and autogen remaining sharp in appearance far into the distance). Important issue on the side: with a seperate P3Dv4 screenshot department people are informed about aircraft, airports, sceneries and other add-ons that are currently compatible or atleast work in P3Dv4. If we would lump all screenies together there's a good chance each screenshot series will be accompanied by atleast one inquiry about its origin... ( a good example sits right here above... ;-)
Btw, personally i am a big supporter of a seperate P3Dv4 forum, apart from its P3Dv2/v3 cousins simply because P3Dv4 is in a league of its own. To follow your course, YoYo, i'd say Mods/Admins of SOH please think about this.
Cheers,
Jan
So how many we will inform about the same XYZ model is released? Bugs, problems ect. Notice the most of problems, issues ect. concerns all users FSX and P3D and only few dedicated version of simulator (no problem to write about it in the topic).
FSX corner has a 25000 threads (and its the first choice), P3D 1500 but Im sure most of us use P3D now (especially growing users of fabulous v4), for sure FSX has exactly 10 years also in this Year.
It's habits only I suppose (of us), it was the same with Windows XP to Vista > next to Windows 10. It could be a poll for example to merge or not to merge ;> but its not my decision.

TBH YoYo.. FSXers have lived through 4 full versions of P3D (plus countless interims), X-Plane and dare I mention it.. FSW and at each stage, we've been reminded of just how good 'the other' sims are and how inferior FSX is by comparison. You couldn't resist reminding us again in that comment and for the second time in the thread!!! You make a good point about the number of threads too. You'll be well aware that many P3D problems get their questions asked and often have them resolved here in the FSX forums and why is that? Is it because most of us are using P3D now (v4 of course) but don't use the P3D forums or perhaps.. unlikely as this might be.. that most of us are still using FSX??FSX corner has a 25000 threads (and its the first choice), P3D 1500 but Im sure most of us use P3D now (especially growing users of fabulous v4), for sure FSX has exactly 10 years also in this Year.
None of this needs a poll to sort out and less so, a merge. Everything is already here

As stated, all of my screenshots are from FSX. If they were from P3D, I would be posting them in that forum. The DX10 cloud shadows is a payware addon for FSX which requires that you already have Steve's DX10 fixer purchased/installed too. https://stevesfsxanalysis.wordpress....cloud-shadows/ They have continued to be improved/updated for free over time.
Meanwhile, I'll continue to enjoy FSX to its fullest, despite now having to put up with comments such as, "nice screenshot, it could almost pass for P3D". In all honesty, I know of all of the features P3D has, but I have yet to see many screenshots that actually look realistic or any more life like than what I already have with FSX.
