Shalom and greetings all my pals,
Here is clearly irrefutable proof why taxiing around and taking off from CYTZ always give you beautiful view of skyline of city of Toronto!!

Hi Gavin,
Apparently Lady Musgrave is available again from here : https://vecscen.com/
Click on FSX/P3D at the top, then the picture of the Island on the page that pops up.
Thanks.

Taking the Speedster out for some long, overdue cloud-surfing ............
Now, on the lookout for some favorable puffballs .... perhaps a bit higher ...

Nice screenshots of the Speed Six Mr Z Is this model a rework of mine or a new one from scratch?
Keith
Thanks Huub, I remember now - aged brain fade!
Keith
Yes, Huub is correct.
Speaking of the AH Speed 6, Huub, may I ask where you acquired the nice 'retro' paint in your screenshots above ?
(I only found 2 paints so far, one at Simviation, one at Avsim ....)
Also, what scenery is that in your screenshots above ? It's very nice, and the location stumps me at the moment.
Thank-you,
MZ

Mike,
The repaint is done by Peter Watkins and can be found at Flightsim.com. I hope this link will work for you : https://www.flightsim.com/files/file...peed-6-g-adod/
The top screenshot was taken at ORBX Shoreham and the middle one is ORBX Damyns Hall scenery
And Keith when I'm your age, I hope my memory is still as good as yours.
Cheers,
Huub
Thank-you, Huub.
I thought it was Orbx scenery but couldn't quite pinpoint the region. Both airports are still on my wish list, waiting for their next sale right now.
The repaint worked. I like what Flightsim 'has done with the place', ... (ie. the new website is more modern and sleeker).
Milan.

Only when I was looking for the Peter Watkins textures I realised I already have this model for more than 7 years!
It was definitely one of my better purchases, I have flown it quite frequent and I still like it....
Cheers,
Huub
Yes. Beautiful model and Orbx scenery as well. I like those smaller airfields for VFR flying.
Is it just me, or in real life does the Miles Hawk Speed 6 G-ADGP have gold wings and gear as opposed to silver ? AH shows silver in their depiction. Both are beautiful, but which is more accurate ?

New scenery by Ed (falcon409) and a new livery for the Speedster (thanks, Huub, for the link) ......... I love these 'art deco' aircraft and colors !
Yet another great airfield to explore ..... the icing on the cake !

Thanks, Andy. I suspected more than one variant existed.
Great shots, Huub !
Leaving Lakenheath ..........

Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.
Milan,
Old Warden was still on my wish list. But as ORBX currently has another sale I have purchased it. The sale lasts until 27 March, so when you still want to get Damyns Hall or Shoreham, this is your chance.
Cheers,
Huub

Thanks, Huub for the heads-up ! I'll have to take a look. Orbx sales have been more unpredictable lately .... except for Black Friday, that is.
Still flying in the English countryside, with a bit more noise ........
Yet another 'sim within the sim' .... MAIW

Haha, Milan I have a complete FS9 install filled with MAIW. I have the feelingh ORBX doesn't really like other scenery and keeps moving to the top.
Old Warden made me install Craig "full" Richardson's DH.88 Comet conversion. The textures are by Desert Rat.
Still a great model despite its age!

Great shots, Huub ! A truly beautiful aircraft as well. I remember it in FS2004, very throaty engine sound and great to fly.
For the longest time, I had only RAF Lakenheath installed as the only 'detailed airfield' in Britain. Could never figure out how to get all the 'static' aircraft visible. Finally figured it out and installed the AI component. Turned my UT2 GA and airliners to 0%. Turned FSX default traffic to 100%, and started my flight at Lakenheath. A few aircraft were parked there already, with some helis..... then in about 5 minutes the 'noise started' - swarms of them were coming in and taxiing to parking spots. The airfield which I was losing interest in no longer looked abandoned and my interest in what wonderful work the MAIW people do is now even more fully appreciated. Yet another example of what great talent exists in this community.
Needless to say, I have now been slowly expanding my airbase collection past RAF Lakenheath, as seen in the pics above, lol !
Cheers,
MZee
