It's a bit flat for Hawai'i. It looks like Australia, so I think Tommyboy is correct. When you are wondering whether its worth to install the freeware Hawai'i packages, I can assure you you will not be disappointed.
The 3 packages contain in total 13 high quality airfields. From small strips, to the large military bases at O'ahu. All complete with static aircraft and AI traffic.
Below some screenshots from Kalaupapa, where the waves splash against the coast, with a very neat effect!
Cheers,
Huub
Hi Lee,
It's Orbx YBRM. Picked it up during their last sale, and well worth the price. If you're still running FSX/P3D, Orbx often has very good deals.
Also, I totally agree with Huub.
I have all 13 airfields (plus several more) mapped out on a physical map of the Hawaiian Islands, and can literally get lost for days just flying these great Islands - a sim within a sim !

Here some additional screenshots from the beautiful scenery by George Keogh
And what these shots don't show, there are many animation. Moving people, trees which move in the wind. etc.
Like Mike already said, a sim in a sim. It's great fun to do some Island hopping, either slow or fast
Cheers,

Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

Greetings...
Before I made the skins for Capt. Kurt's Pfalz D.XII that I posted shots of in the FS2004 screenshot thread, I cranked out these for the neoqb Fokker Dr.I...
First, a replica, N105RF... currently hanging in the EAA Museum, I was taken with it 50 years ago when I saw it on the cover of a book called The Fighters...
Lastly, for the moment, 512/17 of Jasta 36... That aircraft actually looks like this, but this texture is serving as a demo for my version of the paint kit- I made it to produce variations of the factory paint job, thinking that it would be a good foundation for any other insignias...
It took me some time to find a custom brush for Paint Shop Pro that would apply the streaked olive like that... I think it works pretty well... Any feedback would be appreciated!
I will be uploading these textures as soon as I can, along with the ones I did for the Pfalz.
-Mike
