    Embraer E170's Electrifying Thunderstorm Touchdown

Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Presenting thunderstorm touchdown on runway 14 of KGPT Gulfport–Biloxi International Airport three nautical miles northeast of the central business district of Gulfport, Mississippi.

Thank you for viewing. Please stay tuned for next exciting flight report.

    Regards,

    Aharon

Nice capture of the Lightning Aharon.

Recently got round to reinstalling my "xtreme prototypes" models X-15 and X-1. Haven't had what I'd call a really successful flight yet... where I managed to glide down to a safe landing.. more manual reading is required I think. But they are beautifully done.

    Matt,

Love the X-15 pictures! Beside military aviation I find the story about the US test aircraft very fascinating. In particular I have found the X-15 and lifting body projects interesting. We had a few lifting bodies back in the FS98 days, but I'm not aware of any of them having been made for the newer sims.

    Best regards

Piglet made an X-24 for FS9:

I like it too, never finished to learn (and this great manual) about how to flight by X-15 V2.
Hope they will do version for P3Dv4.

Ah, Willy, where oh where did that paint come from? Need that one to deck out my Solomons AI Ventura's as it looks historically correct!
Striker, listen, and you listen close: flying a plane is no different than riding a bicycle, just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

That one is a work in progress that's in the final checks for a couple of days before uploading.

There's some more in the pipeline as well. Next up is one out of Reykavik, Iceland.

Thanks for reading material on the X projects... vey interesting indeed. The manual provided with the X15 and X1 is very comprehensive including a lot of historical data as well... far more than I've got the patience to read and digest. I've just looked for the info I needed to get flying.

Time to turn back before I become orbital
