Here are some screenshots over-flying Reading, England, where my 11th great grandfather Tyrrell (a member of the gentry, a Vestryman of the local parish, an "Almoner of the Poor", among his positions) lived in the early-middle 1600's. In 1656, during the English civil war, one of his younger sons, a loyalist of King Charles, and cut out of an inheritance due to the rule of primogeniture, sailed to and settled in New Kent County, Virginia - hence my being here in the US, over 360 years later, rather than the UK.

Scenery is FTX England and the aircraft is the superb freeware Auster by Dave Garwood.

Having 'fun' with 2D panels...but getting a Yoke to not 'tear' is beyond me....no matter whether it's a full-size image or a quarter size-drawn and multiplied...8bit....24bit....nothing seems to get it right.
