    Merauke, Dutch New Guinea, 1944.

Nice shot Jan You posted it a bad moment as I had the song "Paris s'éveille" in my head for the rest of the day......

Here a few shots I did this evening:

Cees Donker a while ago I promised you this repaint, do you still want to have it?

    Cheers,
    Huub

A bit of a departure from the norm for me, in the shape of Liberator B-24D 'M' FK228 of RAF Coastal Command.

Consider it a payback for 'Wunderbar' that you posted in the DC-3 thread and i couldn't get rid of, even today ! Hehe

Always liked Jacques Dutronc's ode to Paris. Catalyst for the screenie which in itself is an ode to this awesome freeware scenery.

    Thanks for the kudos!

    cheers,

Here is another one in the paint hangar. Although it is the wrong model, (this is the Mustang Tales package) I liked the look.

My Moms cousin was here the day before yesterday and i asked him again about my two uncles part in the terrain following systems in the F111.He told me he knew about it when his now wife told him that her father knew some of his relatives, they were just dating at the time. Her father was an F111 pilot, and flew in the testing stages.remember..All i know about this is what Doug has told me.but i know the two of Uncles did alot of this type of stuff, both held several patents and copywrites.the oldest brother was an engineer and then conductor with the Western Pacific and Feather river railroads.and i knew NONE of this when they were still alive...........uhg.

    Gee Bee Walkabout continued

Still on my little "walkabout" flight in the Gee Bee. On this leg, I left Monck's Corner, South Carolina and flew north along the coast to the Cape Hatteras area and landed at a world famous place in aviation history. There is a runway on the the other side of some trees, but me being me and always looking for the more difficult angle to try, I landed in the big field the monument sits in and then taxied to it for this shot. It was kind of a bouncy & bumpy landing but I did manage to get the Gee Bee stopped before I ran out of field.

Trying to decide which way to point the nose next....

Wonderful repaint, Joe, of that bluenoser!

Here is a bluenoser I've been working on - as of last year, a distant relative of mine in England now owns this aircraft.

Thanks John. I was going to do the same paint as you got going there but changed my mind when I came across a pic of
Ex-Lax. Here she is on the K model with a little more work done. Looks like I need to lighten the blue up as it looks a little
    darker than yours.

    MISS HELEN!!!!

I've been wanting to ask how the paint was going for a long time and have been tempted many times to ask. Hope to be adding her to my hangar very soon JT
