    Oh boy...seeing your magnificent repaints of the IRIS F-15E...I wish there'd be a nice F-15C soon!
    Been stationed on Iceland some many years back and had the pleasure to see the Eagle in action in Kefalvik. :salute:

    Yes, as you know Dutch 1940 colours always have been a reason for strong discussions.

    The colour in this paint are based on a picture I took from the few paint chips still present on the wreck of the 229. However as this paint is over 60 years old and heven been stuck in the soil for over 50 years, so I have my doubts whether this really represents the colours the aircraft had in May 1940. You could also wonder how reliable a colour sample taken from an picture taken with flashlight is.

    So although not supported by any solid research, I thought it looked quite nice
