Landed at RPMD. I kept doing wind angle adjustments, but was starting to wonder if I'd missed the mark by a LONG ways. Thick clouds making it hard to spot land didn't help. It was sweet music when the IDENT started beeping and the NDB arrow pointed almost straight ahead. LAND HO!

    Baton time: 2:14:21

    Total Distance Flown: 3038.8nm
    Average speed: 318.4nm/hour
    Total Baton Time: 9:35:08
    Total Flight Time: 9:32:39

Well, it's been a fun run. I think I eked out about every ounce of speed I could from the old P-38. It's got nothing on Wombat's hot P-51, but it was a pleasure to fly. Thanks for putting this event together!

    Way to go Jared!

Nice run Jared. I thought I had the shortest course until I saw everyone coming from the other direction, but I also thought I'd have more tail winds too, which I didn't.

well done! The '38 may not sprint like a '51, but it has a lot more style

Great run Jared. Gotta think that the P-38 is just right.
