Just to put a period to my almost ill-fated flight to WASS, after landing on the beach near the small town of Serikoberi, Indonesia, we walked to the nearest Texaco station with a five gallon gas can, filler it, walked back, dumped it in the main tank, and we were off to WASS. All in a days work.

Well, we made it to WAMR along with our new found foo fighter in tow. PRB and Taco made it in just fine, but I got a little happy on the brakes at WAMR and nosed over big time. I think this is going to take a bit more than some duct tape and touch up paint....

Rgr made it to WAMR with minimal fuss. Didn't even run out of gas this time, although we were followed again, as can be seen by the kodaks. It could be the ATF is onto us...

    Wingman safely down.

Special Flight 19 navigation to Sangihe Island over the Molucca Sea. ("Daid, I reckon.")

We lost Taco due to radio interference. But Willy managed the baton down in a smooth landing. We remain under the shadow of 4,331 ft Mount Awu which has not errupted for almost half a century. Though its last event managed to kill thousands--the two mile wide crater reminds of nature's immense power.

Taco's buddy Dudley is looking kind of puny so I'm going to run him on up to RPMD from WAMH for some lumpia and San Miguel to wash it down with. Not sure if I can handle both him and Fred in the same airplane....

Had to cancel the flight. Fred and Dudley got to fighting over over who was going to man what gun in the back. Like a couple of kids in the back seat......

Actually, I was an Atlantic Fleet type and never made it to the PI. But that don't stop me from enjoying the good stuff.
