For what its worth- more FORD repaints at Garry's web-site

Just noticed a few new liveries at Garrys site:

    http://www.gjsmith.net/Textures/ford_tri-motor.htm

Two new Cuban airlines. Two UK airlines (Instone & Imperial Airways). One from Mexico. Two new Australian repaints (West Australian and Australia National Airways).
The grand total is now at 127 repaints for the old Ford.

    Take care.

I think this is gotta be some sort of Flightsim record. At this moment Gary Smith's website list 164 repaints for the default Ford Trimotor. I don't think anybody anywhere has created so many texture variations for a single flightsim model....ever. Am I wrong?

Certainly solicits a high whistle and a holy smokes to begin with....

The plane below was real, flying out of Lansdowne field. In service for only about a month, she flew into the ocean in heavy fog just off of Dungeoness, Washington. I have (older) friends who can remember as children, Ford Trimotors flying in and out of Lansdowne, now the location of a shopping mall.

Thanks Gary. Thanks Ed. What a terrific archive, so much to explore!!

Here are four more that Garry just finished! Enjoy! White Pass flew between Skagway, AK and Whitehorse, Yukon, CA. The final flight resulted in a crash at Whitehorse...
Garry has done clean and dirty versions of White Pass, just for your fun.

Total is now at 177 Ford Tri-Motor REPAINTs!!!

    OleBoy,

For many, many years, I was just a file sucker and a taker of free work from others.
This is a way for me to give back to the flight sim community and maybe up the interest in FS2004.

I never got a chance to thank Leon Louis or Frank Betts and many other people who gave so much to the flight sim community - so my small way of saying thanks is to sponsor these handful of Ford Tri-Motor repaints that Garry Smith is doing - it is such a wonderful job and joy to watch grow!!

Garry never complains and always comes up with a world class product each and every time!!! Thanks Garry!!

    Take care.
