    F-4 Phantom

A question.... has anybody ever made a repaint like this ??? Attachment 31925

This is a F-4 from JG71 "Richthofen" I have build such a model in 1:100 scale about 30 years ago.

    Hello Andi,

I have one about 1/2 completed for the Could 9 F-4E/F. Wow! I'd forgotten all about that one. I'll see if I can find it and dust it off and get it finished. It'll be a good distraction from the Alpha F-4B I've been working on trying to "doll up" the paintkit to my liking.

    Cheers,
    Steve

    Nice scheme, Andi!
Never came across this pattern before - although I've grabbed a ton of Phantom images within the last weeks...
This blue/grey combination almost looks kinda "russian" to me. Seems like it was intended as a aggressor scheme?

I still have another Alphasim Recce Rhino in the works (AG52's 35+18 in its 1979 grey/camo wear), but the plan is to adopt the sophisticated RF-4F paint kit to the F-4E model (mapping differs slightly). Once this conversion is done (and the usual Norm 72 variants of the F-4Es are finished), I may take over this one!

    Cheers,
    Markus.

It was an "exmerimetal" in the 70th As far as I know. I found a few pictures in an old "Modell-Fan" Magazine years ago. But this is the only picture I've found in the www. "Espie" sendet this one to me.
