    P 39Q and P-400 repaints

I am nearly finished repaints for OBIO's reworked Airacobras. One is for a P-400 "Hells Bells" of 67th FS, 347th FG Guadalcanal 1942and a P-39Q of 6th FS, 15th FG 1943. I replaced the underwing .50cal housings with those from Gryphon Aviations Mosquito wepons pack (Originally intended as bomb pylons). I also added a barrel extension to the 20mm nose cannon on the P-400. I have just a bit of tidying up to do and will upload,
    Cheers

    Watchdog,

Those are simply amazing skins. Looking forward to adding them to my collection.

I have some more skins done, just need to double check that I have the damage textures done then pack them up.

Both repaints are in the upload Queue, maybe a RAAF Cobra next, these had the 20mm cannon but with the 6 exhaust stack arrangement of the D. Any requests?

    Well, since you asked Tony....

I had a profile of another similar machine of 23 Sqn in Foliage Green/Earth Brown/Sky with the earlier roundels and its done, I could repaint the underside Sky Blue if you think its more appropriate. I must admit upon reflection that blue would be more in keeping with RAAF regulations of that period, Hmmmm

    P-39Q Details

    Hi,
For any who are interested. I found this as I went back thru some old images I had downloaded from heaven knows where.
They show some details of the P-39Q, including the center line tank and the gun pod.

Hey, I did pretty good putting Dbolt's P-47 drop tank and centerline pylon on the 'Cobra, and I was afeared that I was going way off kilter with it.

OBIO you did great work on this plane, many thanks from someone who can only paint. More power to you.
The RAAF Cobra will be uploaded in a day or so, I may do a Soviet one next but some of the profiles are SO contradictory - even from the same period there are many interpretations to be had of the same photo.
