New Video for the Mosquito for CFS3 - DBKF DH B.35

OK Chaps here is a video of how it stands at the moment. Dave's declared it is at Beta status at the moment. It is not up for release yet. The cockpit is still the stock version at the moment. It has one of Rob's bombsights in it, but it will probably change as we find out exactly what type the B.35 had, though info on Mossie bombsights is surprisingly scarce. It also features a new Cookie bomb, which Dave has also modelled.

    Tally Ho!:salute:
I tried to do the Youtube tag to show the player, but couldn't get it to work, so here's the link.

Much has changed since the video was made.

I have substituted a more accurate bombsite, and tweaked the air files.

    Still WIP.

I think Dave had some health issues, I've not heard anything from him for a long time now? It's a shame because the model had a lot of potential, and was progressing nicely, there's some really nice detail if you look closely. There are two models a Mk BXVI, and the B35, the skin is the same because it was just for testing purpose. I don't have the source BTW. Mosquito's look so much meaner without the flame dampers!

I note the engine is what I'm looking for the B ix. Was Dave or Kev doing most of it?

    Hi all.

Dave did all the hard work with the modelling.

I did the original air xdp cfg files etc.

Sad to say that several HD crashes over the years and like many time away from siming sees me having lost all my Mosquito files.
Most of my time these days is spent still flying, but RC not PC based.

I hope Dave still has the source files as this would be awesome even as I remember it.

    Hi Kev,

I still got a lot of it but gotta install Gmax again and all that jazz. Back at the modelling and will be from now one. Will be spreading myself between DCS, FS2020 and now back into CFS3.

    Dave.

Hahaha I was 34 when I started modeling and modding CFS3 thanks to a good friend. Then met all you lovely folk and then started flying multiplayer missions with a few of you as I was doing modeling/modding. Some good fun back then flying with you all on bomber missions in MAW, ETO and some early PTO.
