    Question German gauges and FSDS

Hi all, I am working on gauges suitable for the JU52.
I have some old fs98 gauges for oil pressures and temps, it may be possable to revamp the bitmaps with those from the FS9 set.
I have modded some B17 RPM gauges in this way and the results are not perfect but ok.
But I need suitable donor gauges for left and right fuel tanks. If you know of any tank gauges that would fit this image Attachment 24035
please let me know what and where it is.
    Cheers

    Simon,

Sorry about not posting this yesterday, but...is there anyone who has experience with FSDS modeling? The cockpit animations are driving him a bit insane since one of his fields of expertise is GMAX.

Ole boy, I'm afraid XML gauges do not work in CFS2 which requires C coded gauges. I feel sure that it would be possible to use the xml coding as a base from which to make the .h files needed to compile new gauges, but I do not have the time or experiance to figure this out.

As for FSDS skills Rami unless you can persuade Pierino Primavesi to let us have his source I do not think it will help.

The problems with the cockpit animations are really of scasm coding.
    Hold on to your hats.
We are using stock control surface variables to animate the flight controls but the rotation for elevator needs to be inverted.
For a Gmax model I interpolate the elevator to user variable offset 0x312.
But this does not work in FSDS2 built models. Which have significantly different Variable tables.
I am sure that this is a simple case of getting the right numbers in the right places.
Any how as a bit of relief I thought I would give the panel some attention
Here you can see the situation so farAttachment 24043Attachment 24042I have swapped the xml gauges for the nearest similar gauges I have in my folder, some of these now have bitmaps from the XML set but if you examine the two fuel gauges you will see how this will not work because of the arrangement of the dial and needle.

    Simon,

Here's a small collection of related items from my gauge bank. After unzipping, the FUEL folder will contain gauges close to what you expressly asked for.
