    Hey Huub,

How about a Focke Wulf FW-190A-8?

I'm sure I remember one being done for CFS2 a number of years that could probably be ported over.

I am not on my system at the moment so can not give you the link to his site, but Akemi did a series of 190s that look and work really well in FS2004. I don't know if he did the A6/R6, but I am 90% certain he did the A-8.

Yes, OBIO is right! Akemi did an A8 which works without any problems in FS9 and it can be found here: http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/hago/hangar3.htm

I don't know whether they are included, but I know Chris "ChrisN" Nölte did some very nice repaints for most of Akemi's German aircraft models.
Repaints by Chris can be found here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...&ammm=15&pap=1

Mathias from Classics Hangar once made a FS9 beta from a A4 model available, but this is not longer available.

    Cheers,
    Huub

Really? Must be ages ago since I really can't recall that.

On the A-6/R6, I don't think that anyone ever made one for any sim.
We made an A-6 for FSX - as far as I can tell the only A-6 ever produced to some meaningfull accuracy in a Sim - but no R6 subversion.

Ahhh yes, that's the old model we did for CFS3 back in 2004 or so.
Jupp, I remember, there was an FS9 conversion. :-)

It's always in my hanger and is one of the first aircraft I reinstall.

That sure is a great looking A4. Who would be willing to send me a copy of it?

The VC has never been finished on this old model. I lost the source files half way through the developement run and started all over again.
Beside that, I only shared it as a preview via a forum link for a short time, so more or less in private if you will.
Would hate to see that old stuff popping up at some public server locations.

    ChrisN's repaints for Akemi's FW-190 begin on page 3 of http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...&ammm=15&pap=1

I can D/L the first of these, the a8-JG5 variant, but all that follow on pps 3 thru 6 return the dreaded SERVER ERROR -

404 - File or directory not found.

The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

I have tried to D/L on two separate days, with the same result.

Is there any way around this?

I think that you'll find most, though possibly not all, of ChrisN's files are "also" in the new Library thanks to the great CFS2 file restoration project,

    Thanks, Rohan. Got 'em!
