Wondering if an old file is still useful ...

I was browsing through the old Archive 2 and came across an old scenery macro file which seems to have been lost. I have no idea whether an old file like this would be of any use to a potential scenery designer like myself, so thought I'd ask whether other designers still used anything from it. Of course, there's also the question of whether anybody still has a copy of the file. Details as follows -

    Macros2+.zip
"This is a complete set of default CFS2 macros/bmps for Airport and FSSC. Created by Martin Wright and John Tucker (douglas)"

I think these scenery APIs are calls to library objects. For use in scenery design apps like airport and FSSC.

They will insert objects into the procedural scenery layer.

Objects can appear from further away (depending on the bounds set) but are not interactive; you cannot blow them up because dp s are not used at this layer and you cannot crash into them because they do not all have crash detection coded into them since that is handled by dp s in CFS2.
Many of us are using GSL instead to place objects and have them damagable.

    Question On That Note...

... and not to start a firefight...

But didn't we have a "team" in place, attempting to convert older API infrastructure to good usable BGLs ?

Seems I recall this being discussed earlier in the year...

Thanks very much for the replies - I think I'll stick with GSL,
