Thanks Gizmo. I just found that post@Halcyon while searching for the book, right before you posted it. It's only $35.00 USD. I'll have to see what the shipping costs are, as I have a birthday this month.:ernae:

    Thanks for the blueprint links.

Looking at the blueprints and comparing it with the pic I think the Skyly would be an absolute pig to maneuver on the ground, you would have absolutely no forward vision whatsoever.
It`s even worse than some period `real world` taildraggers like late model Spitfires.
Perhaps that explains why in the `Sky Crawlers` world they went over to canard designs with tricycle U/C`s?
The game, which is set some years earlier has a number of taildraggers but they all appear to be older designs that were most likely obsolete by the time-period of the Film.</EMBED>

Thanks Gizmo for posting those pic links. Awesome stuff there. Man it would be sweet to make some of those. I need that book badly, lol... I want that flying wing!

SunDog, where did you find the book at? They do not carry it yet at Amazon.com.

    Bill,
as far as I can tell, it's only available at a reasonable price from amazon.jp. I've no idea what shipping would be from Japan -
