As ce_zeta desired, here still a few more shots .
Wow, the cockpit and cabin still look really good. You have to look twice to see that this is a 10+ year old model.
Hello Bjoern,
In fact, the lady looks very good for age
and it is a great pleasure to fly her.
The inner textures could be rejuvenation,
They are a little blurry, but that does not really disturb .
I've tried to improve them, but without good results.
Perhaps some texture artist can do this.
I know there are some really good ones.
i imagine, how good she would look with spec and bump
textures.
Wow!! Superb Bluebear!
Your lifting is a miracle.
Marvelous work. I hope that you can contact with the original developers and release this gem.
That's the magic of a good texturing coupled with photorealistic textures. They keep looking good for ages.
I mean, look at the Mirage F-1 by Kirk Olsson. It was made for FS2002 perhaps ? And it still looks awesome today, including the virtual cockpit. (ok, there's nothing clickable, yes... but still, it looks so nice...)
indeed,
with today's possibilities you can push up the look of an old airplane up to date .
Some exterior repaints look okay,
Only the interior textures must probably rebuild from scratch.
I have unfortunately no experience in creating textures, spec or bump maps.
at first I had to get involved in the topic.
this great plane would it be worth .
Flysimware is doing a Falcon 50!
I too installed this ole FA50 but had some issue with the VC clockspits not working right

There was a texturing problem with the original model.
Both motors are using the SAME paintkit "area" thus prohibiting any writing on them.
Better explained by this picture seen in pilote-virtuel.com
Do you think you could do something, as you have recreated the model ?
Gérard
Postbaer used ModelConverterX for the model conversion, changing the texture mapping of parts is therefor not possible.
I don't have recreated the model, only converted with MCX.
To solve the problem, I would have to install GMAX.
I think, then there is a way.
I only use MCX at this moment and can not seperate the
two engines.
Let's see what can be done in future.
In this particular case I think it would be quite easy to separate the engines.
When first imported into MCX the left and right engine are separate modelparts, they can easily be separately deleted or isolated.
Once isolated is should be possible to edit the texture names to be reacL & reacR for example.
The left and right engines can then be merged back into main MDL.
Sounds easy at least (I haven't actually tried it).
Hopefully the original modellers will approve of this conversion.
i have exactly tried this.
But the left and right engine, are one component in MCX
and use only one texture.
perhaps you can seperate the both engines with GMAX
and you can change the layout for texturing.
Essex,
you made my day,
That was the decisive point.
now we have different textures for left and right.
Thank a lot !!
And, yes Gerard the Yokes can now be hidden.
For the Falcon 10 I can't any promising.
You need permission or toleration of the author.
Great - a big thank for these enhancements !
Concerning the Falcon 10, I fully agree with the need of the authors agreement.
Here the extract of the readme - if it can help

Beautiful work! I have always loved this plane. Nice to see it getting the facelift it deserves.

Life is tough. It's tougher if you're stupid.
@Postbaer61,
Did you succeed to get in contact with the Copyrights owner of this beautiful Falcon 50 ?
I can't wait to see her published ...
Gérard
Hello Gerard,
I have written a message to Mr. Yannick Lavigne of an
Announcement about the release of the new model.
I know from Ludovic "vonstroheim", who had the last contact with him,
Mr Lavigne has nothing against the publication of his
model,as long as no significant changes are made
and it remains as an freeware project.
I think, Mr. Lavigne has withdrawn from the flight simulator community
and does not want to deal with it any more.
So far he has not spoken negatively about my plans, so I assume,
I can publish the new models soon.
The Robin DR400 are also ready fore departure.
Good morning,
I met Mr Lavigne a few weeks ago at the first aeronautical airshow held at LFCS (Bordeaux - Léognan - Saucats). I had a chat with him (very nice man) and I confirm he is no longer in the flightsim area, he moved on several years ago to the aerial photography.
He still owns this Humbert Tétras (french ultralight aircraft) which he started reproducing a few years ago but never ended:
Best regards,
Stéph.
Hello Postbaer61,
Great new and beautiful screenshoots.
I am waiting your future publication with hope.

I hope you enjoy
Best regards

Couldn't find it here at SOH downloads yet but did spot it earlier this morning at simviation ("FSX Native Falcon 50 Package" at top of page).

Thanks for doing the work on this Bluebear and for making it available.
