    Frustrated and disappointed

Went back to the uro yesterday. Passed the void test with a little difficulty but uro let me come home cath free Late last night and this morning started having p difficulties and went back into retention. A trip to the ER and I'm back home with a cath again. :icon_twi:This crap is getting real old. ER dr. Thought it is just a minor setback and gave me 10 days of Ativan to help calm down. So now in addition to a cath I feel like crap after taking the Ativan

it's hard to stay positive in times like this. Everyone please continue to pray for me

    Stay strong Darrell.

Figure it puts hair on your chest and makes you a tougher guy.

Just keep focussing on healing. 'I am getting better, I am getting better, I am healing up!'.

Prayers are still coming your way.

Thank you all. If it wasn't for you guys being willing to listen and offer support, , my loving wife and my parents I don't think I could make it thru this mess. Anybody that's every went thru something like this can attest it really wears you down mentally.

I don't even feel like getting on the computer and flying.. and that is a very rare situation for me.

Prayers and well wishes are still in the air for ya. Take it one day at a time, and don't let this set back derail your spirits.

Thank you all for your support and encouragement. I have been doing a lot of reading today about the procedure (TURP, ladies, google it if you're not sure what it means :mixedsmi It seems what happened is a common occurence. I've found that the Dr's will promise a 2 week recovery period, but in most cases, and this comes from guys that have actually had the surgery, the recovery is more like 4 months, with the potential for some setbacks along the way.

Now if I can just get my overactive imagination under control

Hey Bill, thanks for that link. I watched several others also, I'm surprised I'm not in any pain after watching those
