    make a dp for a converted aircraft tutorial

    is there a tutorial about this argument? can i use also aircraft container manager to take the measures for this task?

    I think yes, you can switch between feet and meters in the container manger, DP files are in meters

    I've done quite a few .DP files by combining ACM and DPed.

    Basicly, what I do is taking three captures of ACM from top, side and front views of the model at a scale of 0.10m (if it's a big plane might be 0.5m). Then, with a paint program, highlight every 1m with a different colour, to make distance counting easier. An example:

    Attachment 16150

    Now it's much easier to put all this numbers into DPed. The result:

    Attachment 16151

    This is the basic box placing part. Then comes the tedious job of assigning parts to every box (and possibly the proper effects) and the guns and loadouts.
