    A trick that Mike Stone used way back on his KC-135R was to include a seperate model for AI. The refueling boom was animated with the landing gear. If the gear was up, the boom was down. That way, you could put it into your AI and practice refueling approaches with a nice steady tanker.

    Another AI trick which I've seen on a VC10, and KC135, is the booms/drogues appear above 10,000ft. It just has a separate .mdl file
