    Been a long time!

Hey gang, I've been away for a good year and a half but I'm ready to wade back in. My mobo blew out on my old rig and I had to downgrade and couldn't run CFS3 anymore. I think I can buy a new rig in a couple of weeks and just wonder if there any new developments I should be aware of in running the sim, quad core vs dual. Windows 7 compatability etc. Looking forward to getting air borne again guys :salute:

    Flamingskull, welcome back.

A really good vid card is recommended for use with ETO, PTO, MAW, etc.

Windows 7 is compatible with CFS3.

Some modification is need for the add-on stand-alone games, though, and all CFS3 games will need to be modified for online play. Follow all instructions in this thread: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...ad.php?t=25661

Now, as far as other new developments go: http://www.ww2aircombat.com/

Thanks much for the links, luckily I have all my CFS files backed up on a portable hard drive. Before my rig went south I was able to fly on line with O-1 drivers PTO crew so I think I'm modded correctly...........we'll see!
