This isn't rare plane at all, but I haven't found any FSX native Messerschmitt Bf109 D-model yet. Is anyone making a payware or freeware?

  3. #103
A good, FSX native, Martin Baker Mb5, allways my favourite....

I have the AF Corsair, it's nice and Jan did some awesome repaints for it, and with Fligers FDE it flys well. But I'd also like to have a mean birdcage model, etc.

    Rare indeed...

    My vote is for:

    1. Hawker Henley - Britain's equivalent of the Stuka.

    2. Hawksley (Armstrong Whitworth) Albermarle I - bomber/glider tug/special transport.

    Both WWII era.
The grass is always greener on the other side...

But, it's just as hard to mow!

Well, how can it be that an F-82 hasn't been made for FSX? Bomber could have made one of these in his sleep!!! (I of course mean this as a compliment to him)

Westland Whirlwind: the cannon-armed fighter, not the whirlygig. I know there's an FS9 model, but a rebuild would be good.

Some exciting suggestions above. Especially the Whirlwind.

If I had the time and willpower to try Gmax, I would try my hand at a Heinkel 112B (WW2 fighter). Lovely plane.

Convair's XF-94A "Pogo". I believe XF-94 is the correct designation. That one would be a real challenge to even the most seasoned FS Developer.

One of my favourites is currently being built

Even though they're post-WW2 their development certainly began in the war years but prior to the Korean conflict, and they're rare as the designs never went beyond the testing phase. I've also seen them in FS9, but native versions would be nice for FSX...

    Cold War, most definitely!

    Would love a good, native Buran OK-GLI, Yak-38, Il-82 (Il-76VKP) Myasishchev M-50 Bounder, Myasishchev M-55 Geofysika, Antonov An-72, RC-135 Rivet Joint, E-4B Nightwatch, EC-135J Looking Glass, NKC-135, Beriev A-60 etc...

...OK, that's probably more than my fair share of aircraft. I'd ask for a Yak-44 as well, but I don't want to be too greedy, and there are no photos of the proposed cockpit layout, so even an E-2 Hawkeye, painted as a Hawkeyeski, would be welcome.

I got to say that along with the other suggestions, I'd really like to see an FSX native XF-85 Goblin. Mr. Ito made one for FS9 that I still fly today. Althoughit didn't have a lenghty "service" career, it's still an interesting a/c. Granted, some of the features would need to be improvised for operational use, butit would make for a "peculiar-Piglet" style a/c.

I think a C-46 would be the way to go.
I don't understand all the work & effort that's going to be put into the C-97. Seems like re-inventing the wheel, no disrespect to the developers but it will be constantly compared to the A2A 377.
I may be completely wrong though.
