What war's rare aircraft interest you?

This is for a project i am thinking bout doing but need to know a little in what would be the most interesting rare aircraft to be put into the sim.

All i am doing right now is thinking, i may or may not do this. It will depend.

I would like to see a nice little P-39 Airacobra.
    Or a huge B-29 superfort.
    So I voted WW2.

    A modest list of mine:
    1. Fokker G1
    2. Fokker DXXI
    3. Heinkel He 115
    4. Blohm & Voss 141
    5. Dornier Do 24
    6. Heinkel He 100
    7. Junkers F13

Well that pretty much locks me into the WW2 era.

Maryland and Baltimore, the strikers. Used extensively by the RAF in the med, giving Rommel a right ole bloody nose.

To make up your mind if you had no idea what a rare aircraft was. I hadn't myself so I googled up that . Some blur the definition from "rare" and "weird".

Food for thought for some devs' here anyway like Piglet or Lionheart ...

I like the Abrams Explorer, the Arups are nice too but I did the US pages only. Gotta look at the whole site.

    Said it before ...but...

Would be great to see some Soviet Cold War aircraft in full fat FSX goodness....Sukhoi's,MiG's,Antonovs,Ilyushin's,Tup olevs (especially the mighty Bear),Mil helicopters etc etc etc

That sums it up for me too (With a slight change. )

Anything else from the inter-war period that was built by Fokker or Koolhoven will do fine too.

    - Aerospatiale Alouette II and III
    - Westland Wasp and Scout
    - Sikorsky S-58
    - Sikorsky S-51

Not a helicopter but... Short Sunderland Flying Boat?

AlphaSim made a Douglas A-20 (Mk.III Boston). I grabbed it when it was freeware, quite a long time ago, and I don't know if it's still available. One of my favorite twin bombers is the Martin B-26 Marauder by Dave Eckert. I'm a big fan of WWII and Cold War aircraft.
