    B-17 Flight

Had a chance today to fly in the B-17 "Nine O Nine". What a thrill! Beautiful day for a flight and loads of fun. I told my wife that I was afraid something bad might happen since I've knocked off two items from my Bucket List in the last few months. She said not to worry, I've got a long list!

Here are a few shots from various positions on the plane, including the nose. Hope you enjoy and I hope you all get a chance to do this someday.
    :salute:

Happy Fourth of July all you fellow Yanks!

Awesome - I got to see "Nine O Nine" a few months back in Florida, but didn't get to fly - I did fly in the B-24 "Diamond Lil" in 2001. That is an experience none of us should pass up if we get the chance! Great photos! Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful shots Cody. I took the family aboard Nine O Nine at the Olympia air show maybe 8 years ago. Wonderfully kept plane. It must have been a thrill to actually fly in her.

Nice scenery too. Reminds me of the Panhandle of Idaho.
    Keep your airspeed up,

I too have been inside, but Erica wouldn't allow me to go up. If I did, I'd spend the next 400+ on a down payment for a divorce lawyer.
