    Well,
    many flight simmers, many opinions:
    Piper PA-38 Tomahawk is good,
    Do27 is better
Noorduyn C-64 Norseman is the best.

    Greetings
    Dieter

    So what's the verdict?

Looks like the Traumahawk is in the lead!

Definitely, but due to the surprising reactions I'm not sure if I shouldn't do a second poll; Tomahawk vs Do-27 ?

Noorduyn Norseman first and the Tomahawk second.

Here's some further news. As there were numerous requests for the Do 27 (despite the fact that it wasn't even part of this poll) I started a second one: PA-38 vs Do 27, as the PA-38 was the clear winner at this one.

When I told the flightschool concerned that I would be ready to visit them to for the fotos, flights, sound recordings etc... they suddenly said: you know, we think that's too expensive for us etc...

So that leaves me without the PA-38 as this is the only one registered by a flightschool in Austria, which in turn means that the Do 27 is in the works now.

Sorry folks but I hope that this isn't too bad news....

No bad news at all. Making a high quality freeware aircraft without any money is not easy. Best of luck on the Do27 :salute:

    Hi Sg38,

As much as I voted for the Do-27, I still thinks it is sad that the flight school withdrew their offer of a flight so you could make your aircraft. Where has goodwill gone?

That's a kind offer thanx but main reason for choosing the Tomahawk was that I would have been able to do my own test flights with the real thing....
