Google: "Javier Fernandez Nimitz"
Yep, you want Javier's nimitz carrier, with the AI carrier config program:

Are there any WWII carriers that have working cables and are "flyable" or mission objects? Looking for something that could be used as a multi-player mission or free-flight based carrier.
I'm sure there is something to fly a Vertigo Studios bird off of.
Cheers,
Chris
Yes there is.
It's a pack that includes a WWII carriere together with a Wildcat (native FSX with a virtual cockpit ).
I can't find back the archive on my disk... but I think this has been discussed here at Simouthouse.
EDIT: you're looking for a file nammed "escort_carrier_group.zip", by Phil Crowther.
Thanks as always .
Ok got it DL and used the setup install but did not see it in menu under addons . Read me says not tested with vista,I am running windows 7 64 . Any ideas what went wrong .
I'll wager a permissions problem for $500, Alex. (Jeopardy theme song kicks in...)
The Answer is: Why won't Win7 allow the Exe.xml file to be modified by the AICarriers2 install program?
Find the Exe.xml file and see if the necessary entries have been written or if Win7 blocked you from yourself.
There is a WWII Enterprise, CV6 that works well with AI carriers. It can be set on a controllable course with the AI carrier dialogue or even steered from the bridge as a sim object.
Don't remember where the download was from.

It will work fine with Vista 64, but I am not certain about Win 7 64 bit. You need to make sure you have Lamont Clark's AI boat utility loaded. If you have it and the latest of Javier's Nimitz-Ike file loaded, then after clicking on "add-ons", be sure to select AI ships, then go past the first page by selecting "next page". The first page of the "AI ships" add-ons are some of the FSX acceleration products. You should find the 9 or 10 configurations each of Nimitz and Ike over the following 3 to 4pages.
Good luck.

Try this: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...d.php?t=32831&. The latest version, with the most models, is at the end of the thread.
