After flying one of the default missions, I had decided to replace the default kagero with Usio's, so I backed up the .mis and .dyn files; I used Morten Krogstad's mk_cfs2_util to replace the default kagero with Usio's.
Then I tried it in the mission, and attempted to attack it. I tried that 6 times, I was shot down every time. So, I backed up the .dp file and replaced it with one of the .dp files that come with it. I was finally able to attack the kagero (Although missing it) without being shot down. So I decided to replace the remaining default ships with his, and flew the mission again. Half of the attacking aircraft was shot down without hitting anything, and my engine was shot off.
So, I exited and tried it again, this time with my super zero, as I was getting just a little bit frustrated with this. When I opened fire on the kagero, CFS2 locked up for some reason. I tried it several times, and even tried attacking one of the transports, got the same result. After that, I tried replacing the transports with the defaults, and left the destroyer alone. I successfully attacked the transports, but when I went after the destroyer, it locked up.
So, my questions: Why does CFS2 lock up when I attack Usio's Kagero, Akagi Maru, or Tonan Maru with my super zero, and what do I have to change in the .dp file in the Akagi Maru and Tonan Maru to prevent being shot down every time I get too close?
P.s. I tried searching for more info; I keep getting a message that I don't have permission.
