    OC Question

Hello,I know there are some very knowledgable, intelligent and just generally smart PC savy people here on the forums,so I came here with my question.

I recently did {I think} a very basic Overclock on my Q9650.I boosted from 3.0GHZ to 3.8GHZ but I really don't see a noticable difference in my FPS.When I reboot I do see the 3.8GHZ along with the Front Bus and MHTZ numbers I changed to, yet when I log in, my system info still say's I only have 3GHZ! How can I know for certain my OC was successful?

    Than You

You can download CPUID utility, that will tell you about your cpu, voltage and RAM.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
