    Angry New Rig for FSX.

    Hello Fellow FSXers,
I have a new rig being delivered tomorrow. My current computer is Windows XP SP2 32-bit , my new one will be Windows 7. I would like to transfer over my add-ons, free and bought. Can I do it with a transfer cable, or do I have to re-load everything ? I had my old rig tweaked as much as possible, and it has to much family stuff on it.
The new one is all mine, and I cannot wait to see FSX in action the way it should be. Any insight would be welcome.

    Thanks, and Happy Flyin!

    Here are my new specs:

    OEM INTEL i7-930 2.80GHZ 8M LGA 1366 , EXTREME OVERCLOCK (20% MORE)
    2TB SATA-II 3.0GB/S 32MB CACHE 7200RP
    ASUS P6T X58 SLI/CROSSFIRE TRIPLE CHA
    WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM 64-BIT
    APEVIA 800WATT POWER SUPPLY
    ASETEK 550LC 120MM WATERCOOLER
    CORSAIR DOMINATOR 2GB PC1333 DDR3 PC3 3ea.
    ZOTAC NVIDIA GTS 250 1GB DDR3

Everything except your OS system should transfer nicely. Since you are migrating to Win 7 that should not be a problem. I use this at work:

It's not fast but it is plug and play and works for MAC and PC

You could also just pick up a 4 gb or bigger flash drive and transfer your addons that way. Plus you would get more use from the flash drive then a transfer cable.
