    Scenery config files

Can someone give me a little insight on the FSX Scenery.cfg file. I find there are two of them on my system. One in the default fsx folder, and another in the Program data/microsoft/FSX folder.
    A couple of questions:
Are both supposed to be there?
If I delet them will FSX rebuild one?
What brought this up to cenrter stage is the FSX load time. It's approaching six minutes. Just seems a tad long.

    Systems specs
    Intel Corporation DG43NB AAE34877-402
    3.15 gigahertz Intel Core2 Duo
    3068 Mg Memory
    1TB SataII 7200RMP HD
    Raedon HD 5770
    Dual Monitors
    Windows 7 Ultimate

    Yes.
    Yes.

But when FSX rebuilds the scenery.cfg file it uses a default structure, which is the file in the main FSX folder. Any scenery that has been added would be lost and need to be readded to the Scenery.cfg file.

More often than not, long load times are related to something other than scenery, such as a lot of airplanes, AI traffic, installing clouds to match the weather, etc. Personally, I'd be looking at some other area other than scenery for the delay.

Thank you LC. Your reply answered the questions. Will go on a hunt. You have a very interesting site and your scenery looks great.
