Downloading now! Woke up at just the right time. Thanks A2A for releasing this thing over my spring break! I can get some quality time in with this bird.

Wow, 60 FPS in the VC. This is truly what FSX is about. This looks like yet another FSX legend from A2A.

Scott even called me on the phone to make sure everything installed right! That's pretty outstanding service! :salute:

Thanks for the heads up. I don't know if this one will be above my simming abilities or not. I hope not.

    Boy, 333mb!!

    DOWNLOADING!!!!!

EDIT: I should have read more before I made such a quick purchase. I just bought the Accusim package, and I don't have the B-17 to use it.

Have any of you tried the AP yet? It is very tricky! It is even worse with turbulence.

Well so far on my first flight I've managed to kill engine 3 because of active sky not initializing temperatures correctly, I forgot the controls lock and smashed my gear after takeoff. This isn't going to be a pretty end lol.

Dont worry kiwi, the control lock thing is something I thing all the dev team + testers did at various points. Makes fo some great Panther moments

DOH! Guess I better get Hobbs AAF models completed. Tako_Kichi has done most of the work. Need to finish that 2nd hanger.

AAArgh! Will need to wait till the weekend......cant....hold..on! Aaaargh!

On an aside, I have the file "WoP B-17G Flying Fortress" & also the file"WoP2_b17g"..I presume the latter is the one I get the Accusim for? Im sure I got the WoP2 version but just cant remember the download <-------ignore that, found I DO definitely have it from my A2A account!

  19. #19
Well done to all at A2A :ernae:

My Easter weekend is now fully booked........downloading, but won't be able to fly her till Friday. Not sure I'll have my mind on my work

  20. #20
Ey Kowalski (and andy for that matter!), we will have to do some gamespy flying with this.

It is dying to be flown in formation with some P-47 escorts...

  21. #21
Hell yes Kiwikat! A fleet of these will look amazing, with their "little friends" in attendance!

  22. #22
    Kiwikat,

Count me in. I was sweating 'trying' to fly in formation with you on the D-Day P-51 flight. I've got my nose art picked already (sounds wrong).

    First one to break something....:mixedsmi:

IS this just the old one with Accusim or is it completely updated?

  25. #25
Pretty much everything is updated. The textures are much improved. It is like a completely new aircraft for 30 bucks.
