    We have reputation now?

    I just noticed...
They use this on another forum I frequent...When you read a post you like, you click the star and it adds a little to the person's reputation bar under their name. It's a way of saying thank you and it helps identify the helpful people.

Hmm - I never noticed that little star. . .

We'll have to turn this off real quick....
Note: This feature has been turned off in previous versions of the forum software

That was my first thought, but then I noticed this system doesn't allow negative repping someone (in my experience, that is where problems arise).

Either positive or negative, when you have such member ratings, it leads to a cabal mentality. That's why it's nearly always turned off.

    Cheers,

But your wife thinks you are grand. And that's way better than what anyone else thinks!

Back in the older version of the "Netwings" web site they had a kind of rating system, based on importance of flight crew positions....but more often than not it really didn't mean much.
