If you really are interested in History you should see it from both sides and not just from one side!

You will get a more complete picture this way from any event.

There is a lot more information when it come to the PTO from our side than the Japanese.

There for we are getting only halve the story.

The same thing can be said of the ETO.

Well you hit the nail on the head so to speak Miami. I took an interest back when I was a kid building many models and was awakened again when I started with CFS2 as soon as it came out and The Zone for me was soon to be in full swing. That is when my education began yet again.

I have a few cousins who flew combat in both the ETO and PTO so I had, for the time being, a set of live encyclopedias to gleen info from. Although 2 have since passed away they did tell me basically that to overcome one must of course know their enemies and their tactics but more importantly and moreso than not, their motivation. And for the PTO that last part explains alot. It has for me anyway...to a point though as like you stated there isn't really much from the Japanese side. If there is it sure is hidden. Hence my initial post to share what I found.
