    OT System File Checker

Guys I,ve been blessed with a ton of bugs this week and I think I've lost some files during the process. I have to keep rebooting to make thing work.I've been trying to get disk checker to check for errors ,but when I reboot It says windows can't open volume for direct access.Seems to my there is a way in safe mode with a doss prompt but can't remember how.can someone please refresh my memory? Thanks PS I'm using Windows XP

Boot into "Safe mode with command prompt" and run the command: sfc /scannow
    Is that what you mean?
