I have just downloaded Flight1's Instant Scenery and it looks great for adding scenery............
But is there a way to remove existing FS9 buildings that are there already?
Thanks

I know it can be done, lots of scenery designers do it to make their add ons work.
I don't know anything about building scenery so I can't tell you how.
I'm sure someone who knows will see this thread pretty soon.
You create an Exclude file which removes stock items.
Pop over to the AVSIM Scenery design forum and pick up a utility from there.
Flight1 has AFX. AFX is the payware AFCAD program, it can exclude default objects. I use this program with instant scenery in FS9. In FSX i use the instant scenery and ADE (freeware). The comment above me is right if you need a freeware exclude program then yes i would encourage you to head on over to Avsim. But be advised i'd recomend AFX if your getting into scnery work. AFX includes a lot of features rolled into one program.
AMD FX 8-Core Black 4.2Ghz, 8G Ram 2TB HD, W8.1 pending W10, ATI R5 2G X2 Crossfire

I use a freeware program called ExcBuilder version 2.0 for FS2004 by Paavo Pihelgas, easy to set up and use although you may need some extra DLL files, find it at Avsim.
cheers ian
Thanks Guys I will have a look at those.
