Really nice weathering Jan Kees. But I don't think this aircraft really has been neglected, because the engine must be tuned very well. As there are hardly exhaust trails...

    Cheers,

I'm curious to know when some of the repaints might be available for download. :salute:

I did a mini-audit of this thread yesterday and there are at least 7 which I cannot find anywhere for download.

I appreciate all the work that going into to these repaints and am always looking forward to them.

    Just wondering

    Thanks

    I'm wondering too...
sorry it takes so long, but I'd rather paint than upload (the same with Bruce probably..)
I will upload them somewhere soon(ish), really.
Meanwhile, you have over 25 paints of mineon OZx already to tie you over...
But first I want to finish this last one, and a previous one....
You can find most of my repaints for FSX/P3D in the library here on the outhouse.
For MFS paints go to flightsim.to

I managed to squeeze in a 20 minute flight today, and as I was flying around the Lake District and the Scottish borders, I felt this paint scheme was appropriate.

    Cheers,

You guys may be addicted to painting. I'm addicted to collecting and flying each one of your WBS Mustang paints.

naaah, finish this one first, almost there, still a few things to sort, but slowly getting there..

meanwhile, you can keep us happy with screenshots of all the paints you fly?

as you can see, I wanted a really dirty one...what do you think?

Mission acomplished, jankees! It's got that "been around the block a few times" look.

    I don't think it's obvious that I re-installed some VFR scenery this evening...is it?

I will buy this plane... yes I will... by hook or by crook.

Just too much talent that has contributed to make this plane a beauty!

Nice paint work again by the master!!:salute:

I've decided that I like them dirty:

    Here's 'Pappy' Gignac's 'Gig's Up II'

    Attachment 3031

    Attachment 3030

I still need to sort a few details, like the black lines on the cockpit, but I'm getting there, don't you think?

and the F-6, 5M-G, is now available for download .
Let me know what you think?

I tried searching, I really did, but came up empty.

I don't have this plane yet, but will definitely buy it if someone comes up with "Kidd" Hofer's "Salem Representative". This was my favorite P-51 model back in EAW, and I would love to be able to fly it in FSX.

Now, don't get me wrong, I will probably get it anyway, and I know how much work it must be to do these repaints. (Well, actually, I don't know how difficult it is, because I have no clue on how to go about it, but you know what I mean, right?)

Anyway, this is a request, I would be eternally grateful.

Hope this kind of request is OK?

'salem representative' is on page #13 of this thread
