    Iron Man, the movie

Well, I finally saw Iron Man the night before.

What an awesome movie. Loved it so much, I watched it again last night. (I purchased it on iTunes, $9.99).

If you havent seen this movie yet, I highly recommend it. Fantastic...

Could you just imagine such a suit where you could fly around like that? Brilliant....

Loved his shop/garage. Kitchen, computer design center, hotrods. And check out that private airliner with the wild tail and compression lift wings...

Well I haven't seen the movie, but now I'm afraid I don't have to as you've obviously just detailed all the good stuff in it.

    Thanks Bill. :mixedsmi:

Wow, just now seeing it? I saw it twice at the theatre and bought the DVD when it came out (way back when, LOL), watched that about 20 times already, LOL. I am a big superhero fan and this was really well done. Check out the Hulk movie, there is a Tony Stark cameo at the end

Check out the trailer for Ironman 2 due out in may

Personally I am waiting for the THOR movie!

I thought the fighting scenes were a bit over the top, but the rest of the movie was good. Overall it is very good for a superhero movie. They aren't known to be the strongest genre... (pun intended?)

Thanks for the IM2 trailer link Michael. I've heard there was a sequel but hadn't heard the date it was due out in the theaters.

And now I know what started the Thor joke in the Cantina.

    +1

Back in the day, when I was in school, it was popular for all the guys to leave the school grounds and walk over to the local "newstand" in town. There we'd get such eats as Coke for a dime, and a bag of chips for a nickle ... and we'd sit and munch while we all read our favorite comics.

Then we'd all mosey back to the school and finish the day out.

But I was sure to get my hands on any of the following. Thor, Conan, Sgt Rock.

Iron Man was always my favourite comic book hero when I was a kid so it's fantastic to see the charachter brought to life on the big screen, and done so lovingly as well.

Yep, that role was perfect for RDJ. If you haven't seen it, I'd highly recommend that you see Sherlock Holmes too .

I agree and yes, that was a great part for him in that movie for his character.

I followed his woes when he was going through rough times. Glad to see him coming about.

"Iron Man" was quite good for a superhero movie. At least I found it better than the (overhyped) "Dark Knight".

I personally found him way better in Tropic Thunder.
