    Emelia Earhart?

Has anyone made any adventures or missions about her last flight?

h yes, this one goes way back to an Abacus add-on created for FS5.1, FS95 and FS98. Here are some pictures from the Flight Sim Museum:

Used to play that on a steam computer back in the day, 'Georgeous mountain vistas' indeed! System requirements: 16 MB RAM...

In fs9 Charles Wood is your man and you'll find everything you need (Aircraft & adventure) here

FS Berlin used to do some nice Electras, including Mrs Putnam's, but they don't seem to be going any more... You might do best to put the Charles Wood offerings into the Lyons' Golden Wings, thereby reducing AI (and scenery, airports, etc) to realistic levels & types.

Hope this is useful, but sure that others will have further suggestions.

There is an add-on scenery for the Howland island where she went missing. I've tried to fly the whole route, and it isn't an easy one.

    close?

Also included is a stunning recreation of the 1937 Lockheed Electra 10E aircraft flown by Amelia Earhart for her world record attempt, with many of the flights dovetailing into Earhart's route

The guys at Merc Air's Flight 19 retraced her route on one of our online adventures a few years ago. I might still have the file with the route on it.

ETA: just checked my saved flight routes and apparently that one got away.

Yes that one is very cool, I just wish they would have done the original flight and scenery. I might buy it if I can find it in the US.

That First Class one may well be a direct descendant of the old Abacus package. (The Charles Wood aircraft & adventure might indeed be the same as FS Berlin used to offer). That improves/adds some of the scenery & there are at least two Howlands available, including the Itasca. You can fly the Electra with its '30s Sperry Autopilot, or with modern communications. You can also have fun with an ingenious virtual sextant and navigate the way Noonan did, by 'shooting the sun'.

Anyone thinking about why you might want to consider taking the payware route should read this unbiased review of the FCS product.

Also, it's worth checking out feedback to the review in the Avsim forums.
