Its a beauty , with just a touch of early Boeing design in there showing its family tree, i wish i had the time to do it , i loved the model 80 enough to have released that a few years ago.

Thanks for posting this Nick , you reminded me why i do this work . best C.J

Some aircraft are truly beautiful, some are not. Some are just plain ugly in fact. But I don't think I've ever seen an ugly tractor. My farmer cousin has had many John Deere's over the years but that Model 530, although a little impractical for the steep Cornish hillsides is gorgeous!! :mixedsmi:

Wild.. I have never heard of that plane before. Love the lines on that thing. Very much like a Ford Trimtor and early Fokker.

Could you imagine having such a classic to go flying around in on Sundays???? Goodness..

    Take that thing to Oshkosh!

I watched a couple of those Barrett-Jackson auctions on Speed TV when I was last in the States (in Scottsdale AZ funnily enough). You've never seen so many Boss Hogg types gathered together in one place. And the money they spent was colossal :isadizzy:

On one of the satellite-only HD channels that we get, they will have the muscle-car auctions televised for 3 Saturdays in a row (and then take a break), and I watch and drool and watch and drool some more....

I'm constantly amazed at some of the mileage, or lack there of, that some of these beauties don't have on them given their age! Original 1960-era Corvettes with only 20,000 miles and the like.

And seeing them in HD makes it all the better...or worse as the case may be....
