The WW2 Fighters, which are included in that set, have been patched to work in SP2 directly (as ports) by A2A. On top of that, still updated for free, you can get true FSX native upgrades for the P-51D, Bf109, Spitfire and P-47. Unfortunately, the A6M cannot be updated to FSX native for various reasons, so won't be.

It's still worth having just for those four, though!

I fully agree with Ian. Although these birds are flown by one of the ugliest pilots I know they are very nice and after the free update they work perfect in FSX with SP2.

In the WOPII P40 also included in this package, be than its a real bargain!

In never fly the P-47 so I didn't bother to install that one in FSX, but below some images to give you appetite

    Cheers,
    Huub

Thanks for the feedback guys. It looks like it will be worth my money. Hopefully it will be here early next week. I checked the a2a forums and found the links to the updates you mentioned.

    Nice pics Huub!

Post on the A2A forums to any problems you encounter.

The boxed powerpack sets were released before SP2, however all the fighters bar the zero have been updated to fsx native models.

Sky defender was a light version of our BOBII combat simulator, its great fun for the beginning getting into combat flight sims.

    thanks,
    Lewis - A2A
