I like the contrast. Is that due to screenshot editing or the HDR mod?

Yeah, it's the mod. All shots are straight out of the sim, bar some cropping and rotating of a couple.

For some reason I can't get that mod to work with my FSX...it isn't compatible with DX10, right?

Couldn't say about DX10 myself. I've only tried it with DX9 so I wouldn't know, personally.
I was just wondering who was 'arguably the best screenshot guy 'round these parts' ...huh - how do you like that.
