    Hi Lewis,
I don't know, but it seems to be remarkable graphics. Not checked him out yet, but other folk say he has more stuff on U-Tube. I have seen the Mosquito's and Spits Clip and that is same high standard, in fact I could not tell that it was Flight Simulation. Incredible how he does it !!!! great to watch isn't it. :salute: :ernae:

    Re; Flight sim

This is not a flight sim guys, Its CGI animation. Ive seen "Tochis" work before. Among his work is a very short clip of Mossies taking off, landing, and in flight that is even better than this. (Ill see if i can locate it). Another is of a Corsair doing aerobatics with smoke (climbs vertical to a stall, wingover and then spirals down leaving a spiral trail around the straight vert. trail. Finally there is a dogfight scene involving a P51 and I think it was a Kate, being watch in part from the ground by a small Japanese boy.

Here is a link to the Mossie video. Absolutely incredible CGI. I had to look several times to tell they were'nt actually real!

This stuff looks as good as the animations created for the dog fighting series on the History Channel!

Gotta say Lewis, in the case of the Mossies and Spits, and possibly the Kates, better.

I Agree, at first i thought it was a trailer for a new movie or something!

Pearl Harbor Sucked big time and it was ever known as pure hollywood, not accurate.

    Incredible!
The Mossies and Spits were my favourite ]

They're making a new Dambusters film, I hope they'll be using the same techniques!

    Great stuff Joe--Thanks !!

    Great stuff Joe,
Thanks for putting us onto it. I just looked at thread and was surprised at amount of replies.

As you guys say, this man has a really good understanding of the Japanese WW2 Aviation side, that has never been really covered well, till now. He puts you right in there and I agree, better than most movies I've seen including the last "Pearl Harbour".

The last Clip Joe you put in, the Japanese fighters were not only coloured and marked superbly, you could see how expert these WW2 pilots were. The professional, no fuss, way they landed, taxied in and that last pilot spinning the Aircraft round right on cue on end of Flight Line, and chocks slammed in. Brilliant!! ( You try that in CFS3, not easy to get right )

I've seen this done in RAF Jets in my RAF days, all pilots really love to outdo each other in every way and "Tochi" has picked up on this brilliantly. Wonder what his Aviation background is ?

While we are here, could some kind person please explain to this non-computer Expert, what CGI is? Thanks.

Glad you are toning up For on-line CFS3 Combat Joe, we need it, there are some very young, hot Desk pilots out there now and us oldies need every edge we can get-----lol---:isadizzy:

    Computer Generated Imagery

I always thought it was "Computer Graphics Imagery", but...

P.S.> Strangely, you're playing "CGI" in computer games like CFS3!
