    Mount Saint Michel Scenery ???

I seem to remember downloading some great freeware scenery for this French landmark somewhere a while back ... Anyone know where I can get it at? For FS9 ...

You are absolutely correct Flyboy. Pascal Dumat made a very nice freeware version of the Mont St. Michel, including Tombelaine and fireworks on the 14th of July.

However after the payware version was released the freeware version was withdrawn.

But the good news is: Pascal Dumat is still around and still makes very nice freeware scenery. I can recommend you his "Chateaux de Loire"

How could I have missed that? It is nice to see that all Pascal's older scenery is still available.

Since we are speaking of France, does anyone know of a decent St. Malo? The old city is tres jolie!

Should be in the freeware gems thread, but pop over to Avsim and search for
LFRD by Vauchez. (there's also an autogen update too, can't remember whom by at the mo)

Includes the aerodrome, surrounds and town & port of St Malo, as well as the Minquiers lighthouse.

It was the first offering by Etienne Vauchez of 'Flightzone' scenery,
better known for the payware Rhode island and Portland sceneries.

    Pete

ps if you can't find it at Avsim, also over at FsDome, (pop-up riddled!)

Fine scenery, LFRD. I fly the Nord 1101 out of there most nights--when I am not VFRin' with the Pouse' Moeuth. :-)

Get the channel islands too, for a short hop treat.
