ok want to dive into some of the mos file editing but alas ive lost the lill extra .ddl or what ever it was i need to get the thing to work had it once got it from ed wilson, have sdk im good on the direct x jsut need thast last lil file when i launch it i get a error msg say to make sure i have direct x installed?

If you know (by any chance) the filename I could search for you. Will be spending some time transferring files from the HD's of my PC that died recently to the PC I'm using at the moment (old one, but still running), so little effort to look for those files....
