    LSMM Meiringen Scenery

    Meiringen ( LSMM ) is one of the 3 x F-18C/F-5E-F military
    bases of Switzerland Air Force.

    There is a FS9 Scenery available ( illustrations here ) :
    http://www.flightforum.ch/forum/showthread.php?t=70695
produced by a swiss/german desing forum here :
    http://www.designforum.stumbles.ch/

I have tried to register to them for a download of LSMM
    without any success.

Is somebody have this scenery on file ?
If yes could it be possible to send me a compressed copy
of it by private message ?

    Thanks in advance !

    Thanks a lot Isra !
    Superb Scenery !

    Question 1 :
Is it possible to install on this scenery the "Rovaniemi Arrestor cable"
made by FSNordic.Net for this Finland Air Force base available here :

    http://files.fsnordic.net/Flight_Sim...enery/Finland/

    Question 2 :
When do you think your F-5E Tiger II panel V.3 will be available ?

    Thanks for the info !
    Best regards

    Hello!

Question 1: Yes it should be possible. As I remember one of our virtual Swiss Airforce Members had installed one of those Cables and it worked, but I do not know wich version it was.

Question 2: It's allways a dangerous question for me to give a Date. One thing I can say, I'm working on the last Gauge, the RWR wich will be very unique. Lets say, release soon...
    Cheers Isra

Aaaah now I remember where this airfield is: it's at the other end of the Interlaken lake, right ?
I've been flying there very often in FSX in fact. That region is beautifull, and landing there is a bit tricky because of a small hill just before the runway

I finally had a chance to play with this one, and I noticed two issues. The first was that there were trees all over my taxiways. I made a new exclude file that fixes that - no big deal.

I also noticed that the tower view looked a little odd - like it was from a LONG way off. So I mad a backup of the AF2 file and did a little playing. I tried to insert a tower view, but I was politely informed that there was already a tower view defined. Really? I don't see it on my screen! OK - zoom out - WAY out! Yep - there it is, somewhere out in the North Atlantic! I used bglanlyz9 to decompile it and it turns out that it was at W8° instead of E8°. That's also now fixed in my copy.

I'm attaching a copy of my new exclude file. Just drop it into the scenery subfolder of the LSMM package. Isra, feel free to use my exclude in any updates.

    Super cool stuff Tom
Can you also made your AF2 File / Tower View correction
available for all of us, Swiss Air Force fans ?

    Thanks
