What has happened to their "RealGauge technology"?
But it's a very nice model and the Yak-52 is a very interesting aircraft.
Well IIRC FS9 3d gauges do not work in FSX, FSX 3d gauges need different coding, i guess the fastest cost effective way is to use standard 2d gauges, but thatīs just my speculation and should not be confused as an intention to criticize this product, which i donīt have.
Best regards
Prowler
I dont think Alphasim uses standard gauges!
back to topic
I have Purchased and fly it in FS9
nice plane inside and out

Dan moved on and created his own company, Firebug Studios. http://www.firebugstudios.co.uk/forums/index.php
He was the one who modeled AlphaSim's 3D gauges.
I'm not sure if i should be happy about that, but all the best for his new endeavour!
What has happened to the Islander and the C-17? Is there any hope? Please...
C-17 is still being worked on at Alphasim, I think the Islander went with Dan to Firebug, though they'd have to confirm that.
I hear it's working in SP2/Accel with no ill effects too, mind you it was my mate who told me that so I can't confirm it for sure!
Its was advertised as coming soon nearly a year ago now, so personally if it ever comes out I will be surprised!
It's not a case of 'if'- there are contracts and obligations involved, so it's a case of 'when'. But that 'when' is anyone's guess and not for me to speculate. :ernae:
Forever lurking.
Back to the Yak-52. The review is very interesting but I was really surprised about the comment on the FDs.
What's the point in doing an AEROBATIC plane if it doesn't spin?
