    Miller's Field BGL

For those who noticed (apparently no one since not a peep out of anyone), lol, the scenery bgl was missing from the zip. Here is a link for it:

You're WAY out of your patrol area!

NYPD does patrol the reservoirs for NYC though. They had a big flap a few years ago because the officers assigned to the Pepacton Reservoir were out on the highways writing speeders.

Hmmm, Bald Mountain is another field I'm thinking about populating actually.

Bald mountain is a nice scenic drive from Portland. Lots of rivers and River banks, mountains or hills, oh and I hate Ai Traffic drivers.

I take it no one has driven from Newbuyport where Plum Island Airport is, to Bangor, all the way up the Maine turnpike. It's deadly boring with nothing but trees to look at for hundreds of miles. I suggest that you fly up to Millers Field. Bill Womack did it once and hasn't been right since.
Would you like to ride in my big green tractor?.

Well, I have (more or less)! In fact, just last month I drove from St. Louis to Augusta Maine, going pretty close to the Plumb Island airport on the way (and back). Pretty drive! Of course, this time I got off the turnpike at Portland, and drove along US Route 1 for a long time. Not a long distance, mind you, only 20 miles to where I was going (Boothbay Harhor), but it took two hours! Summertime is a bad time to drive US Route 1 in Maine!

Thats why I stay off the main road and take the back country roads in Fs. I keep a truckers atlas when I get the itch to sim drive.

Driving that road will make a flier out of anyone. Trees? Yeah, they got a few.

Thanks Falcon, can always use some short-field/soft-field practice on a nice looking field.

HD, it's not all that boring. I've driven it many times and "Leg Check" was usually some great scenery. LOL Oh, and the ocasional moose too.
