Thanks,Mike, but i'm not allowed to go near any aeroplane during the rest of the year...

My first RC-model years ago was an Auster (unfortunately, I could never afford the electronic components then). It therefore took at least nearly 40 years for me to fly an Auster.
My first self build RC model too. Building it took half a year, flying it 5 minutes.... :d

I shoot the blue one last year at the Abbeville Airfield in France during my vaccation.
    Luvly Jubbly!

Where are all of these great repaints located? I think this plane is one of the finest we have yet! It's aircraft like this that will keep our hobby alive! Thanks,

G-AIGF is a J/1N Alpha (an Autocrat that has a larger engine, longer nose and enlarged fin and rudder) and capable of carrying four persons (at a struggle).

I've noticed that the 'roller' at the front of the door opens it, when this is the device which allows you to open and close the window. With a screwing action, this tightens the two frames together.

The strap below the window is normally used to open the door. That is, if you use it carefully. I once gave it a yank in an Autocar and the whole thing came off in my hand. Wasnt very popular that day.

    Best wishes,

    Martin

very nice bob, but most importantly, prop textures?

  19. #69
    I just uploaded this lot:

    both here and at Ozx.
As for the prop, I use Bob's P-40 prop, looks real good to me, but undoubtedly Bob can do a better job.
Pamela looks real good too btw (how did you do those wheel covers?), will you be uploading that too Bob?

    Great job guys

If you want wheel covers, add the word HUB to the title in the aircraft.cfg:

    [fltsim.1]
    title=Auster J1 Autocrat G-AGXV HUB vintage

Adding vintage removes the radio & exterior lights.

Sorry, forgot to add that to the readme

Thanks a lot Dave, what a wonderful plane. And just look at how quickly some paints are coming in. Awesome!
